Want a way to easily customize your computer? How about changing your Windows 7 Start Orb? Today I will show you how to customize your Windows 7 Start Orb into anything you want with some simple software.
Before You Begin
Before you begin, be sure to create a system restore point before you changed the Windows 7 Start Orb. This is to ensure that if anything goes wrong, you can easily restore back. Enter “System Restore” in your start menu search box, and click “Create a restore point”. Click on the Create button, enter a name for your restore point, and click Create.
Changing the Windows 7 Start Orb
First download the Windows 7 Start Button Changer from https://www.thewindowsclub.com/windows-7-start-button-changer-released. Run the program as an administrator to make sure that it will function properly. You should now see the main window of the Windows 7 Start Button Changer. Click the orb on the right to change your start button. Browse to the sample orbs folder, and select one of the orbs. Click Open. Your taskbar should disappear for a second, and when it reappears, you will see your new Windows 7 Start Orb!
To change your Windows 7 Start Orb back to the default again, open up Windows 7 Start Button Changer. But this time click the folder next to “Restore Original Explorer Backup”.
